Tae
Kwon Do at Casper Martial Arts Academy teaches a realistic
martial art for todays world. The hand techniques are
from Western Boxing which compliments the Korean Arts great
kicking techniques. Because we believe in a well balanced
program, basic concepts of Judo and Jujitsu are incorporated
into the TKD classes along with the modern Israeli art of
Krav Maga giving each student a well rounded experience.
CMAAs Philosophy
In 1996 Mr. Bradach opened Casper Martial Arts Academy after
being a Judo and TKD competitor for many years. Mr. Bradach
realizing that stand up fighters needed a basic foundation
in ground fighting. He incorporated grappling in to the TKD
curriculum in 1996. In 2000 under the tutelage of Rhon Mizrahi
he received his instructor certification in KRAV MAGA He was
so impressed with the Israeli Martial Art he added it to the
TKD Program. Mr. Bradach believes that all of his instructors
should have an indepth knowledge of their base art along with
basic understanding and rankings in other arts,. His Instructors
are trained in the latest teaching techniques and concepts
to assure you of a quality experience in our programs.
The
traditional aspects of Tae Kwon Do are maintained but are
combined with more modern day techniques to give the student
a well rounded background in Martial Arts. Also, in 2000 CMAA
joined AIKIA under the leadership of Black Belt Hall of Famer,
Dr. Jerry Beasley. Dr. Beasley, who shares Mr. Bradachs
philosophy, encouraged the idea of adding realism and adding
what is best to your base martial art. Our carefully structured
program brings out the best in each and every child.
Our
Program will:
Build self-confidence and self-esteem that will pay
off for the rest of your childs life.
Develop self-discipline; giving your child the power
to resist the numerous bad influences her/she will face.
Increase concentration that very often pays off in
the form of better grades in school.
Increase self-control, listening skills and focus.
Increase your childs overall fitness level.
Teach realistic self-defense.
When students master difficult Tae-Kwon-Do skills or pass
an arduous test to promote to the next belt level, they gain
a sense of real achievement. That builds confidence in themselves.
As students rise in rank, they are expected to become role
models for new students.
We
work closely with parents and teachers. Before students can
test, they must get permission from teachers and parents.
Casper
Martial Arts Academy stresses personal development first.
Tae-Kwon-Do at Casper Martial Arts Academy
teaches a realistic Martial Art for todays world. It
more closely resembles American style kick-boxing using Tae-Kwon-Do
kicks along with hand techniques of Western boxing. Because
we believe in a well-balanced program, self-defense is stressed
and combined with grapplingtechniques for practical defense
against street or violent attacks.
